CP violation in Bd,s→l+l- in model III two Higgs doublet model
- 1. Institute of Theoretical Physics, Academia Sinica, Beijing 100080, (China)
Description
We calculate the Wilson coefficients C10,CQi (i=1,2) in the MS renormalization scheme in the model III two Higgs doublet model (2HDM). Using the obtained Wilson coefficients, we analyze the CP violation in the decays Bq0→l+l- (q=d,s) in the model. The CP asymmetry ACP, depending on the parameters of the models, can be as large as 40% and 35% in Bd→l+l- for l=τ and l=μ, respectively. It can reach 4% for Bs0 decays. Because in the SM CP violation is smaller than or equal to O(10-3), which is unobservably small, an observation of CP asymmetry in the decays Bq0→l+l-(q=d,s) would unambiguously signal the existence of new physics
