Large-scale processes on the Sun

  • 1. AN SSSR, Moscow. Fizicheskij Inst.

Description

The nature of large-scale processes on the Sun is discussed. It is analysed on the basis of notions about twisted braids of toroidal magnetic field outcoming to the surface from the solar convective zone. The conclusion is made that the solar activity is related to large-scale regular plasma motions on the Sun. It results from the experimental data that theories based on suppositions about solar magnetic field generation by small hardly correlated motions contradict observations
