Full text: Radioactivity in water can reach humans and the environment through many different mechanisms because it is a resource directly consumed, used in food processing and used in many industries. The aim of this study was to evaluate the procedure based on liquid scintillation spectrometry, for determining gross alpha/beta activities for environment monitoring of the water samples in Turkey
