Description
The neutron-deficient 194Bi and 196Bi isotopes were produced in the 181Ta(20Ne,xn) and 181Ta (22Ne,xn) reactions. The half-lives of 194Bi and 196Bi were found to be Tsub(1/2)=2.0+-0.3 min and Tsub(1/2)=4.6+-0.5 min, respectively. The γ-γ coincidence measurements were carried out. The excited level schemes in 194Pb and 196Pb are presented. The possible spins of the ground states in 194Bi and 196Bi are discussed. (author)
