Surface properties and lowvoltage cathodoluminescence of zinc-cadmium-sulfide crystallophosphors

Description
Properties of the surface of (Zn, Cd)S - luminophors, determining the effciienecy of low-voltage cathodoluminescence are analyzed and reserves for its further increase are considered. It is shown that chemical modification of the surface of (Zr, Cd)S - luminophorts by films of wide - zone oxides, as well as annealing in sulfur vapors, increase the efficiency of low-voltage cathodoluminescence of zinc-cadmium sulfide luminophors with the red colour of luminescence up to 2.0-2.1 lm/W
