Specific emergency provisions near nuclear facilities and chemical accidents protection

Description
Basic principles of national policy in Germany concerning emergency planning for the cases of national disaster (NPP accident) and regional disaster (chemical plant accident) are discussed. Attention is paid to the legal aspects of emergency provision and government bodies responsible for population protection in case of accident. Detailed consideration of the emergency plan sections is given. Measures on public information, first aid and evacuation as well as other emergency response activities are analyzed
