Effects of solcoseryl jelly on skin injury due to radiotherapy

  • 1. Kyoto Prefectural Univ. of Medicine (Japan)

Description

Solcoseryl jelly was applied to cases with radiation dermatitis caused by irradiation. Some effect was observed in all cases. In cases in which it was applied to the irradiation field simultaneously with the starting of irradiation for the purpose of prevention, skin injury was relieved greatly. No side effect was observed in any case. Solcoseryl jelly should be tried for the treatment and prevention of skin injury due to irradiation. (Chiba, N.)
