High-energy and spallation processes. Chapter 20
Description
The author deals with chemical consequences of (inelastic) nuclear interactions between nuclei and nucleons with energies exceeding 100 MeV. Some interactions of heavy ions with nuclei are also considered. Only the chemical aspects of the recoil atoms produced in the bombardment of inorganic solid targets, especially when high-energy protons were used, are discussed. (Auth.)
