Phase transition in an abelian gauge theory at finite temperature

Description
Within the context of an abelian Gauge Theory, phase transition driven by the spontaneous generation of domain walls is discussed. The critical temperature is calculated, semiclassically. The results are very close to those obtained via the effective potencial approach. (Author)

No contexto de uma teoria de Gauge abeliana, discute-se transicao de fase induzida pela geracao espontanea de paredes de Bloch. Calcula-se, semiclassicamente, a temperatura critica. Os resultados sao bastante proximos daqueles obtidos pela tecnica do potential efetivo. (Autor)Additional details
