Time-dependent solutions of the dirac equation for atomic processes

Description

Photon and electron impact collision processes for highly charged atomic ions are studied by the time-dependent solution of the Dirac equation. The non-perturbative time-dependent close-coupling results are compared with perturbative sub-configuration average distorted-wave results.
