Description
Primary recirculating pump (PCP) is the main pump for the primary heat transport system, used to transfer the heat from reactor core to steam generator when reactor is in on-power mode of operation. These pumps are driven by 6.6-kV heavy-duty motors. These motors are squirrel cage type electric motors, and to keep the inside of the motor cool, driving-end and non-driving-end fan blades are mounted on the fan hub of the rotor at the respective sides. The rotor rotates with the fan blades and air circulation takes place
