Thermal stability and thermodynamic properties of binary hydrides of alkali metals

  • 1. M.Osimi Tajik Technical University, Dushanbe (Tajikistan)

Description

This paper presents the results of study of thermal stability, the rate of thermal decomposition and thermodynamical properties of binary hydrides of alkali metals. The initial materials - binary hydrides of lithium, sodium and potassium were obtained by thermal decomposition of tetrahydro alluminates of appropriate alkali metals. The standard thermodynamical characteristics of binary hydrides of lithium, sodium and potassium were defined. The obtained results by means of comparative calculation method allowed to determine the thermodynamical characterises of all alkali metals.
