Research and development for Fugen, 4
Description
Main components which must operate with higher reliability among many components of Fugen such as fuel assembly, pressure tube assembly, and seal plug were examined and certified their efficiency and durability by the functional tests, endurance tests and other tests. For the purpose of the improvement of inspection technique and of the reduction of radiation exposures during inspection periods, inspection devices have been developed to have automatic remote control functions. They have been used in Fugen at annual inspections. (author)
