Branching ratios for the decay of the 8.78 and 8.91 MeV states of 14 N

Description
Branching ratios for the decays of the 8.78 MeV 02-; T = 1 and 8.91 MeV 32-; T = 1 states in 14 N were determined following their population by proton capture on an enriched 13 C target. This is the first detailed study of the decay of the 0- state; five transitions were observed. Branching ratios for the 3- decay are in good agreement with previous results. (Author) 13 refs., 2 tabs
