Possibilities of developing new methods of personnel neutron dosimetry

The current state in personnel neutron dosimetry is surveyed and problems are indicated which should be solved in this field. The physical principles which may lead to finding new methods are analyzed and examples given. Particular attention is paid to the application of radiation induced changes in solid state inorganic and organic substances (albedo dosemeters) and possibilities are discussed based on the zero and the first energy distribution momenta.
