Effect of photochemical transformations on the spectral kinetic characteristics of Cd Br2 : Cu, Pb crystals
Description
Optical luminescence properties of Cd Br2 : Cu, Pb crystals before and after X-ray and ultraviolet light irradiation at a temperature of 295 K are investigated. The bands of Cu+ and Pb+ centers are found in the absorption spectra of nonirradiated crystals in the close range of fundamental absorption. The action of ultraviolet light irradiation on crystals results in the appearance of the absorption bands with maxima near 395 and 515 nm caused by Cu2+ and Cu0 centers
