Thermodynamic properties of cobalt borides in the temperature range 5 - 270 K

Description
Low-temperature heat capacity of cobalt borides Co3B in the temperature range from 5 to 286 K and of Co2B - from 5 to 266 K was measured. The samples were synthesized from pure cobalt and amorphous boron. Homogeneity of the samples and their correspondence to stoichiometric composition were ascertained by X-ray diffraction method. Data on Cp permitted calculation of thermodynamic functions ΔHT Deg, ST Deg and ΔGT Deg in the temperature range of 5 - 300 K

Mетодом калориметрии измерена низкотемпературная теплоемкость боридов кобальта Со2В в области температур от 5 до 286 К и СО2В - от 5 до 266 К. Образцы синтезированы из чистого кобальта и аморфного бора. Рентгенографически установлены гомогенность образцов и соответствие их стехиометрическому составу. По данным о Сp рассчитаны термодинамические функции ΔHT град, ST град и ΔGT град в интервале тнмператур 5 - 300 КAdditional details
