Description
Since the publication of the article 'Derivatives markets, speculation and oil prices', speculation and investor behaviour on the financial markets have once again added a little foam, without deviating, to the groundswell that has profoundly altered the oil scene. The development of shale oil and the measures taken or announced to combat the risk of climate change, not to mention the consequences of the Covid-19 health crisis, are among the major factors in this evolution

Depuis la parution de l'article 'Marches derives, speculation et prix du petrole', la speculation et le comportement des investisseurs sur les marches financiers ont encore apporte un peu d'ecume, sans les devier, aux vagues de fond qui ont profondement modifie la scene petroliere. Parmi les facteurs majeurs de l'evolution de cette derniere figurent le developpement des petroles dits 'de schiste' et les mesures prises ou annoncees pour lutter contre le risque de changement climatique, sans oublier les consequences de la crise sanitaire liee a la Covid-19Additional details
