The Search of Dark Matter With ArDM Detector

Description

The ArDM project aims at developing and operating a 1 ton-scale liquid argon detector for direct detection of Weakly Interacting Massive Particle (WIMP) as Dark Matter in the Universe. In the first part of this paper the main features of the detector are presented. The second part includes a discussion on expected experimental background. (author)
