Observations on the kinetics involved in the TL glow curves in quartz, K-feldspar and Na-feldspar mineral separates of sediments and their significance for dating studies

Description

Quartz, Na- and K-feldspar fractions separated from Danish Cover Sand sediments all show non-first-order kinetics behaviour. This implies that the additive dose method may result in erroneous dose values. The kinetic behaviour may explain age discrepancies on a series of Coven Sand samples that have been obtained by two different laboratories, one applying the additive dose method, the other one using the regeneration technique.
