Nuclear excitation of giant magnetic resonance in collisions of heavy ions

Creators

Description

Total cross section of nuclear excitation of giant dipole resonance in collisions of heavy ions is calculated in the framework the Glauber-Sitenko theory at mean energy. Dependence of the cross section on effective radius on strong absorption region determining the total cross section for nucleus-nucleus reactions and nucleon density parameters of Fermi type of projectile and target. 13 refs., 4 figs
