Lagrangian BRST-quantization and unitarity
Description
An effective action for general gauge theories is constructed in the framework of the Lagrangian approach on the base of the unitarity condition of the S-matrix. The necessary conditions of the unitary S-matrix existence are formulated. An explicit expression for the effective action, which describes the wide class of physically interesting theories including the Yang-Mills, antisymmetric tensor field, string field theory is obtained
