NORM meet TENORM
Description
With increased public awareness of radioactivity matters and following successful fear campaigns by various groups of anti nuclear activists, attention has been focussed on naturally occurring radioactive material (NORM). The presence of NORM and technologically enhanced NORM (TENORM) has been highlighted in many industries which were until recently not considered to be subject to nuclear industry regulations.
