Automatic apparatus for dispensing radiodiagnostic agents and method therefor

Description

There is described an easily operated apparatus and method for automatically (1) measuring the activity of a radioactive technetium solution and (2) diluting a calculated volume of the radioactive solution with a calculated volume of saline solution to yield a resultant radioactive technetium solution having a preselected volume and dose concentration. Another object of this invention is to provide an apparatus and method for automatically dispensing technetium which ensures uniformity of patient doses and minimizes radiation exposure to occupational workers
