Character of interaction in ternary Eu-As-Te system

Description
Phase equilibria in the ternary system Eu-As-Te have been studied by complex methods of physicochemical analysis. State diagrams of the studied quasi- and nonquasibinary cross sections and projection of liquidus surface of the system Eu-As-Te have been plotted. Conditions and character of mono-and nonvariant processes have been ascertained. Existence of compounds EuAs2Te4, EuAs4Te7, EuAsTe3 has been revealed and the character of their formation has been determined. 15 refs.; 5 figs
