Research and development of Advanced Thermal Reactor, 3
Description
Research and Development on the heat transfer and thermal-hydraulics for ATR have been performed by use of a 14 MW Heat Transfer Loop (HTL). Codes for thermal-hydraulics analysis and design methodology have been developed. In addition, validation of the developed codes and improvement of design methodology have been also carried out through the analysis of experimental date obtained by using HTL and operational data of Fugen. These activities in last two decades are reviewed in the paper. (author)
