Developing the algorithms for neutron field regulation in the Beloyarsk-2 reactor
Description
The results of experimental investigations on spatial-dynamic properties of neutron field in the AMB-200 reactor of the Beloyarsk-2 power unit and introduction of the system for reactor on-line harmonic control using the signals from in-core self-powered detectors are-presented. It is shown experimentally that the first azimuthal harmonic is on the verge of stability while the highest harmonics are stable. The performed investigations and developments permitted to synthesize the adequate mathematical model of the reactor, to improve the conception of power distribution control with regard to the revealed features and to improve the efficiency of the reactor control
