Description

The structure of oxygen-containing organic compounds appeared on the surfaces of yttrium, erbium and holmium oxides during the reaction of CO with hydroxyl groups was studied by diffusion reflection IR spectroscopy . Formiate (HCO-2), formyl (HCO-) and, perhaps, dioxomethylene (H2CO22-) groups was demonstrated to be by them. 16 refs., 3 figs., 1 tab
