Optimization of technical specifications based on probabilistic risk assessment
Description
As a risk analysis method, the probabilistic safety assessment (PSA) has been widely used in the optimization of NPP Technical Specifications, Technical specifications based on PSA analysis have been developed and implemented in several NPPs in American. But there is no experience for the optimization of technical specifications for heavy water reactors in the world. In this paper, No.2 shutdown system test frequency was analyzed as an example, to study the applicability of PWR guidelines and practice in the heavy water reactors. (author)
