Development of metrological ensurance of radiation gamma densimetry

Description
State of affairs in metrological provision for radiation gamma densimetry of building materials (concretes in particular) and structures is considered. It is shown that in 11 Five-Year plan the development of reference circuit, calibration means and reference means of albedo-absorption gamma densimeters is started. Design of local calibration diagram, including the higher calibration stage, has been developed and investigated. It represents standard samples of element density (SO PTsM), reference measurement (radioisotope reference installations), equivalent and working standards of building material density. Calibration of radioisotope reference installation (ROU-2) was conducted. It enabled to compare results of installation readings for SO PTsM with calibrated and real nominal value of density.
