Description

Many commercial nuclear utilities are unable to utilize the large 125 ton Multi-Purpose Canister (MPC) due to limited crane capacity and/or facility dimensional restrictions. The Dry Fuel Transfer System (DFT) is designed to allow the previously unable utilities to load the 125 ton MPC without modification of the utility's facility. The DFT system employs a remotely controlled small transfer container and associated equipment that are described herein
