MRI research progresses in autoimmune pancreatitis

Description
Autoimmune pancreatitis is an abnormal chronic pancreatitis due to a specific antoimmune mechanism. Its clinical manifestations are not typical, imaging features is often confused with other diseases, which is often leading to misdiagnosis. The progress of MRI technology is more and more helpful for early diagnosis and treatment of the disease. MRI can provide important information to evaluate therapeutic efficacy. In this article, we reviewed the MRI research progresses in diagnosis, treatment and follow-up evaluation in autoimmune pancreatitis. (authors)
