uvby photometry of EH Librae
Creators
Description
The short-period variable EH Lib has been observed photoelectrically in the uvby system. The times of maximum brightuess were found to agree, within observational errors, with the elements obtained by Oosterhoff and Walraven (1966). No regular variation was detected in m1, but an analysis of the (b- y) and c1 variations indicate an expansion of the star as maximum brightuess is reached. The average reddening independent value [m1] indicates this variable is somewhat similar to the Hyades in its metal content. Key words: variable stars - uvby photometry
