Description
La0.5 Sr0.5 MnO3 samples were prepared by citrate gel method. Thermo power of the sample was evaluated for a wide range of temperatures and the magneto-electrical properties were also investigated. A metal to insulator transition at 112K occurred accompanied by a magnetic transition from ferromagnetic to super paramagnetic. The variation of thermo power with temperature, both in the low temperature and high temperature regime will be discussed. (author)
