The fast extraordinary wave transformation on a density barrier

Creators

  • 1. Austrian Academy of Sciences, Graz (Austria). Space Research Inst.

Description

Nonlocal effects caused by the fast extraordinary wave interacting with a density barrier are described in the scope of nonlocal ballistic transformation. Results of numerical calculation are discussed. Application to RF radiation in the space plasma becomes more justified due to the high value of the transformation coefficient.
