Exemption from regulation?
Description
The general principle of the radiation protection in Poland is that any activity connected with radiation danger require a permission issued by the National Inspectorate for Radiation and Nuclear Safety. Obviously, there are also some known sources that are not be controlled (e.g. cosmic radiation), and others which constitute so little risk that there is no need to take them into account. However, when we consider consumer products containing radioactive material the matter becomes more complicated. These are the problems discussed in the paper, and some limits values proposed to be established. (author). 10 refs, 2 tabs, 1 fig
