Assessment of the efficiency of the diversion signal to the ESFAS. Operator intervention 30 minutes after the transient process has set in. Units 1-4. Rev. 1
Description
The effect of the situation where the Engineered Safety Features Actuation System (ESFAS) fails and subsequently the diversion signal (operator's intervention) is triggered was investigated for the Dukovany nuclear power plant with respect to the behavior of selected initiating events whose frequency exceeds 1x10-3/yr. The initiating events were selected from a list in the safety documentation, the frequency having been assessed within a probabilistic safety assessment. (P.A.)
