Density dependence of effective interactions in nuclei
- 1. Triangle Universities Nuclear Lab., Durham, NC (USA)

Description
By comparing the radius parameters of an optical-model potential describing a large set of polarised-nucleon elastic scattering data with matter-density radii, we determine a density dependence of effective nucleon-nucleon interactions that is approximately cubic for densities less than equilibrium density.
