This paper presents a brief survey of non-nuclear and non-fossil energy resources, besides the energy of solar radiation, which could be harnessed by mankind. The discussion covers geothermal and tidal energy, wind, wave and glacier energy, and oceanic heat, the potential and the location-dependence of these energy resources, and the current status of technological development for their exploitation. Der Beitrag gibt einen Ueberblick ueber die nichtnuklearen und nichtfossilen Primaerenergietraeger, die der Menschheit neben der solaren Strahlenenergie zu Verfuegung stehen. Potential, Stand der Technik ihrer Nutzung und moegliche Einsatzgebiete der Energietraeger Geothermie, Gezeiten, Sonne, Wind, Wellen, Meereswaerme und Gletschereis werden untersucht und ein Ausblick auf die zukuenftige Entwicklung gegeben.
