Containment of a closed configuration of liquid by means of an electromagnetic field
Creators
Description
A system for ingot forming from a melt in an electromagnetic field is considered. The behavior of the liquid phase element is carried out based on a mathematical model of a closed liquid configuration, wherein the effects of the potential and vortical force fields are accounted for separately. The method allows one to obtain in an analytical form expressions for the calculation of the effective electromagnetic force, the potential volume force, the vortical volume force, and the maximum mechanical energy of vortical forces W at an arbitrary point Q in the liquid phase when the latter is bounded. 4 references
