Radial plasma injector in magnetic mirror

Description
A new method for filling magnetic mirrors by a target plasma is described. The essence of the method consists in direct filling of a mirror by the plasma from a ring gas-discharge plasma source. The source embraces the middle part of a mirror and the magnetic field of the source after the injection period returns to the initial magnetic field geometry. Experimental results on the target plasma generation in the small adiabatic trap by means of the plasma source developed are presented
