Temperature dependence of magnetic modulation of delayed fluorescence from the pyrene-diethylaniline exciplex system in methanol

  • 1. Institute of Chemical Kinetics and Combustion, USSR

Description

The influence of external magnetic field (14 mT) on delayed fluorescence from the pyrene-N,N-diethylaniline system in methanol is studied as a function of temperature. The dependence exhibits a nonmonotonic character. A qualitative explanation for the observed temperature dependence is given within the commonly accepted model of magnetic effects. This model is based on the mechanism of hyperfine interactions. It also includes changes of the cage effect at low temperatures and the rate of charge exchange reaction at high temperature
