Contribution to the study of two-phase flow analysis considering the exixtence of a dynamic flow between the phases
Description
The application of the dynamic slip technique to modify the conservation of the thermodynamic model use in Relap4/Mod5 is aimed at. The new model contain additional terms which allow take in account the influence of separated flows. The modified code has been submitted to a test. A simulation of a small LOCA has been performed with an equivalent area of 181.045 cm2 in the piping between the reactor vessel and one of the main coolant pumps of Angra 1 plant. The same procedure was performed by using the original version of the code. The comparison between results of both versions show that the dynamic slip model gives more realistic (less conservative) results. (E.G.)

Modificou-se as equacoes de conservacao do modelo de equilibrio termodinamico usado no programa Relap4/Mod5, usando-se a tecnica de escorregamento dinamico. O novo modelo contem termos adicionais para se levar em conta a influencia de escoamentos separados das duas fases que se deslocam com velocidades diferentes. O programa modificado foi submetido a um teste que constou da simulacao de um acidente postulado de perda de refrigerante atraves de uma ruptura com area equivalente a 181.045 cm2 na tubulacao entre o vaso de pressao e uma das bombas principais de refrigeracao da Central Nuclear de Angra-1. O mesmo foi feito, usando-se a versao original do programa. A comparacao entre os resultados gerados pelos dois programas indica que o uso da tecnica de escorregamento dinamico conduz a resultados mais realistas. (E.G.)Files
