Hermetic cable penetrations
Description
The paper provides basic information regarding SKODA /IST hermetic cable penetrations which are used at the Temelin NPP and are also installed at the Dukovany NPP within replacement activities. A technical description is presented (completed with pictures showing the individual types), including the basic parameters, standards applied, and a list of supplementary qualifications tests. The situation at the start of manufacture of the hermetic cable penetrations at SKODA JS after obtaining US licence is highlighted, and the current status of supplies and installations at nuclear power plants is described.
