  • 1. Brikel Ltd. (Bulgaria)

Description

In this paper the possibility for semi-dry flue gas desulfurization system building and the main ecological and economic aspects are discussed. There are some technical and economic barriers that have to be overcome by the plant's managers, concerning the systematically enhancement of the requirements for reduction of the flue gas releases. An example for the implementation of the semi-dry flue gas desulfurization system at the 'Sliven' TPP is given and an economic analysis as well as operational and investment expenditures are presented
