Diagnosis method for the abnormality of water quality in a nuclear power plant

Description

Purpose: To detect the cause for the abnormality of water quality with ease. Method: Detectors are disposed at a plurality of positions on the pipeway of condensate and feed water systems. Causes for the abnormality of water quality in the condensate feed water systems are previously assumed, and the fundamental vectors prepared by comparing the change of ion components in water accompanying the causes for the abnormality with the standard ion concentration in a normal state, are inputted into a memory medium. Then, detection signals for the ion concentration from each of the measuring positions are inputted to a computer and they are compared with the standard ion concentration at the normal state to determine the actually measured vectors, which are successively compared with the fundamental vectors to detect the abnormality of the water quality.
