Bremsstrahlung of relativistic electrons on their scattering by an excited quantum system
Description
A new mechanism of X and γ-radiation resulted in relativistic electron scattering on a quantum system being in excited state is proposed. It is shown that the process cross section is characterized by kinematic singularity with respect to transferred momentum q (q=ω); ω is excitation energy of the quantum system. The bremsstrahlung energy spectrum has its maximum in the high-energy range
