Report
Use of 85Kr to determine specific surface areas of samples requiring glove box containment
Description
A comparison of surface area data obtained by gamma counting of adsorbed 85Kr and by a classical microbalance technique is reported. Reproducibility, precision and self-consistency of the new 85Kr method are discussed. Some preliminary surface area data for size-selected fused aluminosilicate particles are reported
