Study of hydrodynamic characteristics of gaseous-liquid disperse-annular flow in the channel containing a bundle of fuel rods

Description

Presented are results of liquid flow rate experimental study in the film along wetted perimeter of rods and channel body with a bundle of seven rods in conditions of hydrodynamic equilibrium of water-air disperse-annular flow under pressure of 0.3 MPa as well as in the vicinity of two type spacer grids. The technique of two phase mixture sampling through completely or partially perforated channel walls used to determine liquid flow rate in the films. On the basis of the obtained data the empiric dependencies are proposed adequately describing experimental data on liquid flow rates in the films for adiabatic gas-stream-liquid flows in tubes and annular channels.
