Semigraphic color display for nuclear power plant unit control room

Description

A semigraphic display was developed for the nuclear power plant unit control room. It is currently undergoing testing at the V-1 nuclear power plant at Jaslovske Bohunice where it cooperates with two RPP-16 computers. The display is designed as an intelligent terminal based on the SM-50/40 microcomputer modular system and two ODI 6310 displays. It meets the basic requirements for the reactor operator's room, such as autonomous operation with minimum requirements for software of the unit and stand-by computers, and automatic switch to the stand-by computer in case of a unit computer failure.
